About Us
The 2^n journey kicked off in 2022 when a single-family office sought a like-minded family office co-investor for a real estate venture. This sparked numerous discussions that highlighted a real need for family offices to connect and collaborate together. Many expressed that there was no platform for them, leading us to host our first event in 2024. This gathering, and the two following it, created a community organically, without any formal setup. After further encouragement from our family office network and many successful co-investments, 2^n was ready to take off.
The equation 2^n represents Reed's Law, illustrating the exponential growth in a network's value as more users join. We witnessed the remarkable family office network effect unfold in 2024, which inspired us to name the community in its honor.

A qualifying member is an institutionally structured family office with investment professionals who manage direct and/or fund mandates. 2^n strives for diversity across both sectors and investment sizes. A qualifying member should be capable of making substantial investments and contributing to the community in other ways. If there are any doubts about an applicant, the 2^n membership committee, consisting of two founding members, will make the final decision.
Members have access to a 2^n concierge who will assist with connecting, co-investments, and collaborating. The concierge aims to create connections that help members engage and enhance the value creation of the community.
Privacy is a fundamental part of 2^n. We will keep your data safe and request that you protect ours and other members as well.
There is no annual membership fee for qualifying family offices. The cost is nothing but the price is engagement.
Select sponsor members are able to join for an annual membership fee. Sponsors can post deals, attend events and are listed in the sponsor directory. This program is referral driven and merit-based. We are looking for the elite across all channels and sectors—traditional funds, emerging managers, independent sponsors, investment banks or direct deal platforms—who already have deep, proven relationships with family offices or think what they have to offer will benefit our family office members.
